In the coming days, I'm going to feature a number of new plant profiles, beginning with this inspired Asian cycad, the sago palm. Sago palms are slow-growing, beautiful accent plants that are sometimes used in dish gardens. It might be a good thing if the description also came with a warning that the whole of this plant is toxic to pets, especially the seeds which can kill a dog within hours.
